Sarah Westover
is a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at the University of Northern Colorado. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she taught language arts and reading to middle school students. After many moves and life transitions, Sarah landed in Colorado, where she has been for the past seven years. Counseling and walking with people in a professional setting is a new chapter, one she hopes to walk with you.
Sarah has a deep curiosity and love of people. She wants to provide you with complete acceptance and a supportive environment to explore, express, and face any challenges you have. She is drawn to helping others who are going through life transitions, aging, relationship issues, loss, grief, depression, or anxiety. Sarah believes that helping you live in alignment with your individual beliefs and values will create a more balanced and meaningful life.
The avenues through which Sarah approaches therapy are solutions-focused, narrative therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. As a practicing Christian, she could also incorporate a Christian framework in counseling when a client desires it. If you would like to explore whether Sarah’s style of practice would be a good fit for you, she offers a free 30-minute initial phone or video consultation.
